This is, as they say, very cool.

"Berkeley on iTunes U" is now available by visiting itunes.berkeley.edu, and is open to the public as well as to all UC Berkeley students. The agreement brings the campus's multimedia assets under one UC Berkeley-branded media gateway.

Time to learn a bit about that thar philosophy.

Simple - had to put in a simple request for Power Mode PHP so no fancy PHP is run as CGI. Which is safer in a shered server environmnet you see. All good.

My mt shared server package runs php in safe mode - so I'm getting permissions errors. Two plugins so far refusing to work (the default WP 2 database backup plugin and a Flickr Photo Album for WordPress) - with similar permissions errors for both and a third WP-admin by orederedlist which doesn't show up at all...

Mmm: the local custom of the yearly running of the bulls (well they actually only use very small young bulls here - TBC) through the town goes down this coming weekend. Apparently a really unpleasant affair - Spain at its worst really. A macho - but ultimately cowardly - drunken mob hassling a poor confused beast down through the town. I hope to get some telling shots of these jerks from up close. Then again maybe it will prove to be incredibly powerful experience that encapsulates the majesty and suffering of life.

That there squible theme is far too complex for its own good -needs some inline CSS and has too many stylesheets- but the hora violeta site is (god-damn-it) getting there.
